HOUSE RULES

1. 1. SIGN-IN when at The Hub is MANDATORY!!
   2. Members who bring visitors must have them sign-in.
   3. Cleanliness must be upheld at all times (Flush toilet until all waste has gone, wipe the toilet seat after use. clean bathtub if it was used, wipe the floor after yourself if you leave footprints).
   4. Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink, wash them and put them away immediately after use.
   5. Workstations must be kept tidy, clean and in good condition.
   6. Do not leave any eating utensils on workstations once you're done using the workstation.
   7. Be respectful and mindful of other members at all times and conduct your behaviour in a civil manner.
   8. Removing someone's workstation without consulting them is prohibited.
   9. Rolling and smoking inside the office space is prohibited.
   10. Members and their guests should only smoke in the one designated area in The Hub premises before 5pm. They may smoke within the premises after 5 pm if there are no people in The Hub who have a negative health response to smoking.
   11. No drugs, drug paraphernalia, and/or alcohol should be left on workstations.
   12. Handle all equipment, furniture and hardware with care.
   13. DO NOT TURN OFF SERVER
   14. If any equipment is broken at all, report to the technology officer.
   15. If any equipment is found to be broken, report to the technology officer.
   16. Do Not Steal.
   17. Failure to adhere to these rules is ground for disciplinary action (Disassociation from The Hub, strikes/penalties).
   18. All newcomers or first-timers are politely asked to introduce themselves to whoever is at the Hub at the time just to get to know you.
   19. All members and visitors are required to respect the first-come first-serve basis of access to workstations at the Innovation Hub.
   20. If a newcomer needs to use any equipment at the hub, they should talk to the technology officer or the vice chairperson before any access to the equipment in question.
   21. If any equipment needs to be used away from the hub, it should be registered with the technology officer or vice chairperson.
   22. Penalties and fines:

• • • Failure to sign-in puts the member at fault in The Black Book, fine is E10 a day to be calculated weekly.
      
    • Rolling and smoking in prohibited areas - E20 fine per incident.
    • Dirty dishes - E10 fine per incident. 
    • Breaking equipment, furniture and/or hardware is the full cost of fixing the broken equipment furniture and/or hardware.
